Fields trips are part of the fun throughout the year. Several grades went Apple and Pumpkin picking at Quinn farm this fall.

Over 25 students enjoyed delving deeper into Science during our after-school Mad Science program. Subjects covered were: the Animal kingdom, Life in the sea, Energy of motion, Telecommunications, Chemistry, Newton's laws of motion, Robotics and Electricity.

Our students enjoy monthly pizza lunches organized by our parent volunteers. Spaghetti lunches also take place a few times a year in support of our high school international mission trip.

Our elementary Christmas sale was once again a huge success, allowing students to purchase gifts for the whole family and supporting our Secondary 3 mission to Panama. All classes impressed the audience with their songs and numerous other creative performances at our Christmas concert directed by M. Ford.

We are looking forward to our Chess club starting up again in 2012. Other special events to look forward to in the New Year are: our Reading Week and Slipper day in January, our Sports day, Red Day and Birthday Celebration Day in February. A storyteller from the Legend Factory in B.C. will also be coming in January.
